Powerful Multi-Metal Binder

Liposomal EDTA with R-Lipoic Acid is a highly-bioavailable form of EDTA combined with R-lipoic acid for antioxidant support.

EDTA – CaNa2 EDTA is traditionally used as an intravenous injection for the detoxification of heavy metals. Intravenous injection mainly distributes EDTA mainly to extracellular fluids, limiting its capacity to target metals inside of cells. Liposomal delivery systems lead to higher intracellular delivery of EDTA and may enhance metals detoxification at a cellular level.

R-lipoic acid – R-lipoic acid, as sodium R-lipoate, is a potent lipid- and water-soluble antioxidant. It supports endogenous production of glutathione, an integral component of heavy metals mobilization and detoxification.

Recommended Dosing

Take 1 teaspoon by mouth once daily. Hold in mouth 30 seconds before swallowing. Repeat to the desired dosage. Take on an empty stomach, at least 10 minutes before meals. Do not take when pregnant. Use adequate mineral supplementation, especially zinc, when using this product.

Warning

EDTA also removes essential minerals. It is important to replenish them with a multi mineral supplement on days when not taking EDTA. If taking EDTA daily (not recommended), take it at least 12 hours away from any mineral supplement.

Toxic metals bound to EDTA are eliminated through the kidneys and can cause kidney damage. Check kidney blood parameters (Creatinine, Urea and GFR) before beginning EDTA and then every 4 weeks after that.
